By placing an order with Canuck Signs Inc., the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all design, printing, signage, and installation services.
1. Quotations & Pricing
– All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. – Prices are subject to change based on material costs, scope changes, or client revisions.
– Additional work requested beyond the original quote will be charged accordingly.
2. Orders & Payments
– A deposit (typically 50%) is required before work begins.
– Full payment must be made prior to delivery or installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
– Late payments may incur interest charges.
3. Artwork & Design
– Customers must provide print-ready artwork in the required format (AI, PDF, EPS, JPEG etc.).
– Design services, revisions, and file setup may incur additional charges.
– Canuck Signs Inc. is not responsible for errors (spelling, layout, colors) in customer-approved proofs.
4. Proof Approval
– A digital proof will be provided for approval before production. – It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully review all details. – Once approved, the order will proceed to production, and no changes can be made.
5. Production & Turnaround
– Turnaround times are estimates and may vary due to workload, material availability, weather or unforeseen delays.
– Rush orders may be accepted at an additional cost.
6. Color Matching
– Exact color matching is not guaranteed due to differences in screens, materials, inks, and printing processes.
– Pantone matching may be approximated unless specifically agreed upon.
7. Materials & Installation
– Material performance (e.g., vinyl lifespan) depends on environmental conditions.
– Installation services are subject to site readiness and accessibility.
– Canuck Signs Inc. is not responsible for damage to surfaces during installation where pre-existing issues exist.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
– Orders canceled after production has started are non-refundable.
– Deposits are non-refundable once design work has begun.
– Custom-printed items cannot be returned unless defective.
9. Returns & Defects
– Any defects must be reported within 5 business days of delivery.
– Verified defects will be reprinted or corrected at no additional cost.
– No refunds or reprints will be issued for approved proofs with errors.
10. Customer-Supplied Materials
– We are not responsible for damage to or performance of customer-supplied materials.
– No warranty is provided on customer-supplied items.
11. Intellectual Property
– Customers confirm they have the right to use all provided artwork, logos, and content.
– Canuck Signs Inc. is not liable for copyright or trademark infringements.
12. Liability
– Liability is limited to the value of the order.
– We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
13. Storage & Pickup
– Completed orders must be picked up within 30 days.
– Unclaimed items may be discarded or subject to storage fees.
14. Warranty
– No warranties are provided beyond those stated, except where required by law.
– Outdoor signage lifespan varies based on exposure and maintenance. 15. Ownership of Goods – All designs, artwork, printed materials, and signage produced by Canuck Signs Inc. remain the sole property of the company until full payment has been received. Canuck Signs Inc. reserves the right to: – Withhold delivery and/or installation of any products until payment is made in full. – Remove installed signage or products in the event of non-payment. – Retain ownership of all work, including custom designs and printed materials, until the account is settled. – Ownership of the final product transfers to the customer only after full payment has been completed.
